Celebrating 65 Years of Excellence in Dance Education
Policy Letter Effective August 2024
Our policies are grounded in 65 years of excellence in instructing children in the art form of dance. They are designed to cultivate the mindset, confidence and sense of belonging children need to not only learn to dance, but also enjoy the learning process.
Studio Calendar
Performing Arts holds classes year-round and strongly encourages dancers to attend year-round. We have an annual show in June. Participating dancers must be available June 1-8 for important rehearsals and performance(s).
Registration Fee
There is a one-time registration fee of $40 for new students. If your child is absent for more than 4 consecutive weeks and no tuition is paid, there will be a $25 re-registration fee and there is no guarantee they will be able to return to their same class(es).
Tuition
Tuition must be paid in full, year-round to guarantee your child maintains a spot in a class appropriate for their level. Tuition is due by the 8th of each month by cash, check or Zelle (account under paalltheway@gmail.com) Please include a $20 late fee if paying after the 8th and note there is a $20 charge for returned checks.
Absences
Students are encouraged to make up all missed classes. Missed classes for which tuition was paid may be made up within 12 months. Please ask the studio for make-up class options. If you know your child will miss 4 or more consecutive weeks of classes and want a guaranteed spot when they return (may not be the same class(es) you must provide advance notice of the absence and continue to pay full tuition during the absence.
Drop Off & Pick Up
Please drop off and pick up your child inside the studio and on time. Dancers are not allowed outside without a parent or guardian. We are not responsible for your child before or after class, or for any items left behind. Watches and all jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, earrings, anklets, etc.) should be removed before entering the studio. No food, gum or drinks are allowed inside the studio.
